"A museum ideally has the unique opportunity and resources to make the learning experience one of joyous discovery": I cannot but agree with these interesting words which were written in the presentation section of the module.
The “aha!” moment – a moment when learners are so amazed by a new idea ! I must confess that I have often felt like this as I have always loved vising museums.
Teachers play an important role as they can still use museums to develop engagement, excitement, interaction and deep learning.
The aims of this week's module have been presented as follows

The aims of this week's module have been presented as follows
- exploring the idea of developing collaborative classroom projects linked to museums
- exploring museum take-over days and sleepovers
- reflecting on other creative museum-based projects
- drafting the final course product
- reviewing our peers’ final course product

- How would you define inquiry-based instruction?
- Where does inquiry fit in a teacher’s teaching day?
- What are some of the academic benefits of using inquiry discussions in class?
- How can training in the inquiry method help today’s young people?
- How can museums and schools collaborate in using inquiry-based teaching and learning?

3.2 Classroom collaboration projects with museums
Museums can be powerful facilitators of exchange and collaboration between individuals of different backgrounds.
The collaboration does not necessarily need to happen inside of the museum, but with the museum as its focus.
We have been presented some examples of good practice in museum-based projects with eTwinning students connecting, communicating, cooperating, collaborating and learning in, and with the help of, museums.
Some "are projects with individual students pretending that they are certain artefacts and writing biographical sketches, or journalists and interviewing either the artefacts themselves or individuals who might have used them; with students participating in trials about historical events in which they introduce specific artefacts present within the museum as pieces of evidence; with students developing their own ways of communicating the meanings of specific artefacts and exhibitions; with students seriously considering the essence of the artefacts, thinking critically about the ways in which the artefacts could be incorporated into engaging activities, and then actually using the artefacts for practical purposes; with students seeing the artefacts while viewing them, or hearing their message while listening to them; with students developing personal connections to various exhibits through predetermined objectives."

3.3 Museum take-over days and other projects
Interactivity in museums and how museums increasingly use interactive exhibits can facilitate the knowledge construction of students.
There are many museums which still mostly feature traditional exhibits, displaying their artefacts with some text-based description.
I do love visiting museums online but I must admit that today's museums can present interesting exhibits.
TAKE OVERS
“Take-over days” allow students to learn using constructionist principles, even if the museum mostly follows a traditional approach in its displays. Take-over days are projects where students run the whole or parts of a museum, thereby experiencing the museums’ collection in an active manner.

REFLECTING ON THIS INTERESTING MOOC
When surfing the web and checking the main posts on social networks I could find some interesting ideas about learning and Museums.
My idea about how to work in class and out of class has now changed. Museums can offer interesting learning opportunities and I feel that also small museums and located in remote areas can provide opportunities for learning together while doing and with learners who are more engaged.
My lesson plan is not ready now but it will be developed in the next days as I am busy with tasks at my school. I am going to choose a virtual museum and I would like my students to visit it later. I have created a dedicate page for this activity . You need to check it.
There are so many museums in Europe and in interesting places all over the world so I might decide to create an activity online for my classes next year. I would like my students to work with other classes. Right now I am doing an activity - a collaborative activity about Art - . If the collaboration works well, I might try to do something about museums in my province to present activities which have been created by my students.
I would like to say that this Mooc has helped me think deeply about how we can work better in the XXI century schools.
I will have to learn more about INQUIRY -BASED LEARNING further to our Twitter Chat on 4th April:
